Diploma Thesis Registration

1. Choosing the Diploma Thesis Topic, Supervising Department, Supervisor

• Who: student in cooperation with the future supervisor
• When: before the start of the diploma semester
• The list of diploma thesis topics proposed by departments can be found at this link.

2. Course Registration

• Who: student
• When: according to the course registration schedule
• Mandatory actions: register in USOSweb for the courses: Diploma Thesis Preparation and Diploma Seminar, indicating the Department where they will be conducted.

3. Diploma Thesis Registration via Electronic Form

• Who: student
• When: immediately after agreeing on the thesis topic with the supervisor
• Mandatory actions:
  • registration on the page https://forms.office.com/e/sh0BsT7eS6 (for non-students: reinstatement card - paper form)
• Optional actions:
  • submission of the application "request for permission to prepare the diploma thesis in a language other than the language of study" (USOSWeb)

• Comment:
  • This form is intended to verify the compliance of the diploma thesis topic with the specialization.
  • Registration of the diploma thesis topic in the aforementioned forms is independent of the obligation to register the diploma thesis and diploma seminar in the USOS system.
  • Failure to submit the diploma thesis topic in the aforementioned form (and its approval by the supervisor and the specialization coordinator) will result in the Dean's refusal to admit the student to the diploma examination.
