The presentation will cover the Siemens Industry Software contribution to the 3rd High Lift Prediction Workshop which took place in June 2017. High Lift Prediction Workshop (https://hiliftpw.larc.nasa.gov/) is one of workshops organised by AIAA to provide an independent forum where the performance of various CFD codes on challenging industrial cases can be compared.
The presentation will include investigation of the impact of various turbulence modelling techniques on the grid convergence of High Lift Common Research Model as well as the results of nacelle installation study for JAXA Standard Model. Impact of the transition modelling techniques on the high lift characteristics of the JAXA standard model will be discussed as well.
