Research

The Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering actively cooperates with research institutes and industry units specializing in automation, aeronautics, and power engineering.

Our ongoing projects, supported by the European Union, the Polish Ministry, or other research sponsoring bodies, cover a wide range of problems. These include human safety, robotics for the aeronautics industry, methods of energy preservation, the use of solar energy, efficient air conditioning methods, and efficient heating methods.

Scientific and didactic activities are also carried out within Centres of Excellence and European University Networks. Students can participate in projects focused on airplane design, novel engine design, cooling and heating systems, or novel robots for diverse applications (surveillance, aeronautics industry, entertainment, medical issues).
