Information for the first year students

Admitted for the 1st cycle studies in academic year 2020/2021

1.The Faculty inauguration

will be organized in October 01, 2020 at 17.00 (5 p.m.) in Main Building of Warsaw University of Technology. Candidates who want to participate in the inauguration should send the e-mail to Mrs. Agnieszka Zgorzałek on : agnieszka.zgorzalek@pw.edu.pl  

Due to the restrictions, only the first 40 people, who will apply for participation, will be able to take part in the inauguration. The students, who will be selected will receive the reply by e-mail.

2.Delivering the original documents

Such as:

2.1. original high school certificate

2.2. passport or ID document

2.3.2 passport size photos signed by name and surname on the back 2.4.original of the  diploma confirming the obtaining a professional qualification at the technician level (it refers to students, who-during the enrolment process- had apply for recognition on the grades from this diploma and delivered those grades)

2.5.original of the bachelor diploma

2.6. or statement of the laureate

2.7 or statement of the finalist of the Olympic competition

2.8. or statement of the other competition winner

(if such document is taken into account in the enrolment process and its scan has been delivered in given terms for being recognized).

2.9. Certificate or other proof of English language knowledge at - at least-B2 level. It concerns the qualified candidates, who had received the 100 points for declaration of having such document.

2.10. Proof of required language skills from English. It refers to the  candidates qualified for English studies, who had declared having such document.

It all will be organized in accordance to the following schedule:

5.1. Field of study- Robotics and Automation - 25.09.2020 (Friday) between 10.00 and 14.00.

5.2. Field of study - Power Engineering - 28.09.2020 (Monday) from 10.00 to 14.00.

5.3. Field of study - Aerospace Engineering - 29.09.2020 (Tuesday) from 10.00 to 14.00.

 5.4. Field of study -Mechanical Engineering/ Aerospace Engineering/ Power Engineering (English studies) - 30.09.2020 (Wednesday) from 10.00 to 14.00.

8. The "HES" course:

The "HES" course is the course from group of humanistic subjects. This subject is obligatory for students of 1st cycle studies at the first semester of studies. The course should be granted with 2 ECTS. In the winter semester 2020 there are two courses for choosing:

“Philosophy and Contemporary Problems” and “Problems of Western Civilisation”

In the USOS system all students of the first semester were added to the subject "Philosophy and Contemporary Problems", however this subject is not the preferable one.

If the student wants to attend the "Problems of Western Civilisation”  he/she must choose the proper term of those classes and send his/her request with his/her name and surname to the teacher of this course.

Due to the teacher's lists the Dean office will prepare the final, course lists.

9.The Insurance NNW for the academic year 2020/2021

All students, who want to be insured from October 01, 2020 must pay the insurence premium to November 30, 2020.

Students, who pay after the given term, will be covered by the insurance from the next day after the payment date.

 

The insurance firm is UNIQUA  Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń S.A.

The sum of the insurence per one person: 48.600 zł.

The one year insurance premium paid once- 40 PLN.

The term of the insurance - 01.10.2020 to 30.09.2021.

The transfer title: NNW, name and surname, index no, r.ak. 2020/2021.
